Any SEO forum will have the obligatory post from a complicated link-building newbie surprise,
“How do I create amazing backlinks?”
The discouraged linker claims in the post that they do everything to build quality backlinks. It’s including free directories, profile links, article submissions, comment spamming, and so on. However, nothing works. They can’t beat their competitors in the SERPs despite their low-cost efforts. So they’re asking others to share their secrets to building amazing, outstanding, super fantastic backlinks. The problem is that those secrets do not exist.
There are no magic shortcuts or highly classified class hacks for taking high-quality links for your website. Creating high-quality backlinks requires time and effort. But that’s really what the youths on the forum don’t want to hear. They want a quick fix and create something valuable. It’s a lot more difficult than slapping a forum signature on a discussion thread post. As a result, we ignored the warning.
However, if you’re happy to put in the effort, I’ll share my method for making high-quality backlinks. It’s difficult. It is not simple. In fact, it creates imagination, courage, dedication, and hard work. However, unlike low-value link spamming, if you follow these steps, you can create some wonderful backlinks.
5 Steps to Creating Amazing Backlinks:
• Hyperlink Marketing.
• Link Prospect.
• Connectivity Worthiness of Content.
Step 1: First, see what people are linking to:
The first step in obtaining fantastic backlinks is to identify and investigate sites that already have fantastic backlinks. The reasoning is that good content attracts links because site owners feel obligated to share it with their audience.
In the first step, you’re looking for pages with “a lot of links”. As they’ve already shown to have link-worthy content. Follow this procedure to determine which blog posts have received the most inbound links.
Note: For this blog post. We’ll assume Jim’s Pet Shop is an online pet store seeking links, traffic, and awareness for its line of dog toys.
- Download and install the SEO for Firefox Toolbar (it’s free!).
- Conduct a Google search (in this case, for “dog toys”), then click the “show options” icon (below the search box, left) and select “blogs” from the categories.
- Select the “100” option (just below the search box on the right), which displays the top 100 search results.
- After that, click the “CSV” link (just below the search box on the right) to export the results file. Although Firefox for SEO has a variety of relevant information. We just need the data for the column for this experiment. So delete the rest.
- Build a list with “Page Links” from “largest to smallest”, this is what your CSV output should look like:
We now have a list of all the blog posts about “dog toys” that have seen the most traffic. The next step in constructing high-quality backlinks is to determine which sites are trying to link to these posts.
Step 2: Find Out Who’s Linking:
Let’s figure out who’s doing the linking now that we know which content pieces are link magnets. What is the significance of the “who”? This is because website owners have already pre-qualified themselves as link prospects by demonstrating their willingness. To link out to a specific type of content: In this case, content about “dog toys”. So there’s a good chance they’ll link to our dog toy content.
Lift the CSV dashboard we invented above. Choose each of the top linking posts and drill down into their link profiles to find out “who”. They can accomplish this by using the “Yahoo Page Links” button on the SEO. This generates a SERP list of all links pointing to this page. Excluding any internal site links from the root domain, as shown below:
Following this analysis of link prospects to strong rivals for an outreach campaign (covered in step five). If it isn’t already clear, the goal of this step is to compile a list of qualified leads for outreach. This is simple enough to do in a spreadsheet with multiple data columns.
I like to collect information on the following topics for my outreach lists:
- Target website URL: Note the website’s name and the deep page I discovered that links out.
- Toolbar PageRank (TBPR): I use TBPR to sort by relative value here (loosely)
- Contact name: it is critical to personalize your outreach letter. Using the phrase “To Whom It May Concern” in an email is lethargic and for losers.
- Personal email: Unless you want your emails ignored or deleted, don’t send them to info@ contact us forms. This article is about 12 progressive tactics for finding someone’s email address. I provide detailed information on obtaining difficult-to-find personal emails.
- Social media account (s): What is their Twitter or LinkedIn handle? I’m not sure. Determine it.
Notes: Extra information about the blogger or website to further personalize my outreach letters. Also, keep in mind that many blogs have a team of bloggers on staff. So I recommend around to see which one’s links to your type of content. The most usual and referring in your reference section as well.
Step 3: Determine why individuals are interacting.
You must first determine why certain pieces of content attract links before you can create linkable content. Examining the blog posts is an example to see if we can figure it out. Why these five blog posts about dog toys have received over 11K total links? Is there something they have in common that makes them so likable? It just so happens that the clues are pretty clear in this case.
The top link performers are all editorials about strange, odd, wacky, or silly dog toys. It’s not surprising because life can be fairly mundane, so people appreciate anything out of the ordinary. As a result, making unusual or humorous posts or videos is frequently a sure way to attract links.
Step 4: Pimp Your Content:
So, it’s a period to market your content through blog marketing. You’ll start by contacting the site owners, key influencers, and bloggers for the sites. In backlink profiles compile in step two’s pitch list. You will not ask them to link to your X page in your request now.
That’s far too obvious and harsh. Instead, you’ll take a more pleasing approach, informing them about your content. Asked if they’d be willing to “share it” with their audience. As they’ve concluded with comparable types of content in the past.
To illustrate a point of what I’m talking about. Here’s an example letter from Jim’s Pet Store based on the “Wacky Dog Toy Photo Contest” concept. Please keep in mind that this email template is based on effective outreach letters I’ve used in the past.
Conclusion:
So, as I stated at the outset of this post, everything I’ve discussed here requires effort. It’s worth doing well, just like anything else worth doing. If this isn’t for you and your heart isn’t in it, that’s okay. There’s no shame in admitting that this is more work than you expected. But don’t go back to complaining in the forums in a few months about how created 300 social bookmarking links.
Get on Google’s first page, so you need a magical way to build fantastic backlinks that don’t require effort.
The top-ranking sites work extremely hard to get high-quality links. To keep up with them, you must put equal effort into content marketing and link marketing. If you want to outrank them, you’ll have to do something even more extraordinary. And dumping a dozen remark spam links on some poor guy’s “follow” blog won’t cut it.
